Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the ShieldFlow VPN mobile application ("App") or visiting our website at shieldflowvpn.co.uk. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you") and ShieldFlow VPN ("we", "us", "our"). Your continued use of the App constitutes your acceptance of these Terms and any future updates.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age to use this App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.
3. Description of Service
ShieldFlow VPN provides a virtual private network (VPN) service that encrypts your internet connection and routes your traffic through our servers. The App also includes:
Data usage tracking and balance management
An AI-powered assistant ("ShieldBot")
Network diagnostics and security monitoring features
Optional in-app purchases and rewarded advertisements for additional data
4. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes. You are solely and entirely responsible for all activities conducted through the App. You must not use the App to:
Engage in any activity that violates applicable local, national, or international laws or regulations
Access, transmit, or distribute any illegal content, including but not limited to material that infringes copyright, constitutes child exploitation, or promotes terrorism
Conduct hacking, port scanning, network intrusion, or any form of cyberattack against any individual, organisation, or system
Send spam, conduct phishing attacks, or distribute malware
Circumvent geographic restrictions in violation of third-party terms of service
Engage in any activity that interferes with or disrupts the App or its associated infrastructure
Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the App
Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the service without our written permission
⚠️ Any illegal or prohibited activity conducted through ShieldFlow VPN is entirely the responsibility of the User. We will cooperate fully with law enforcement authorities and may terminate your account without notice if we become aware of any violation.
5. User Responsibility
You acknowledge and agree that:
You are solely responsible for all actions taken under your account
You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of the App complies with the laws of your country or jurisdiction
You are solely responsible for any consequences arising from your use of the VPN service, including but not limited to civil or criminal liability
ShieldFlow VPN is a tool; its misuse is entirely your responsibility
You will keep your account credentials confidential and notify us immediately of any unauthorised access
6. Data Allowance and Purchases
New registered accounts receive 500MB of free data upon signup as a welcome gift
Guest users receive no initial data allowance and may only earn data by watching rewarded advertisements
Additional data may be obtained by watching rewarded advertisements (up to 3 per day) or purchasing data packages through Google Play
All purchases are final and non-refundable except where required by applicable law
Data balances are non-transferable between accounts
We reserve the right to modify data pricing and allowances at any time with reasonable notice
7. Premium Subscription
We offer an optional Premium subscription (£3.99/month) that provides unlimited data access, access to all VPN server locations, and an ad-free experience. Premium subscriptions are billed monthly through Google Play. You may cancel at any time through your Google Play account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure
We do not guarantee that use of a VPN will make you completely anonymous or immune from surveillance
We are not responsible for any loss of data, financial loss, or damages arising from your use of the App
We are not liable for the actions or content of third-party services integrated into the App
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ShieldFlow VPN, its developer, affiliates, and representatives from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or related to:
Your use of the App
Your violation of these Terms
Your violation of any law or the rights of any third party
Any content or activity conducted through your account
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for any violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Unused data balances are forfeited upon termination for cause.
11. Modifications to the Service
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes. Continued use of the App after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
13. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that the remaining Terms shall otherwise remain in full force and effect.
